I operate at the intersection of high-stakes Government Risk (oversight of £150bn portfolios) and Commercial Exit strategy (Founder sold to NASDAQ-listed Icahn Enterprises). As a Board Chair and Non-Executive Director, I bridge the gap between the agility of high-growth entrepreneurship and the rigour of the UK Corporate Governance Code. I do not just "advise" on transformation; I have delivered it as a CEO and overseen it as a Regulator. My Board mandate typically covers: Audit & Risk: Chairing committees for the UK Government (DESNZ/DSIT) with assurance over £150bn+ budgets. Regulatory Complexity: Serving on the Board of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Institute of Directors (IoD). Commercial Exit: Applying the lessons from my own exit to Icahn Enterprises to help boards navigate M&A, scale-up, and private equity transactions.
